Hi Carol I took my 3.0 Fiat to Milton Dameral & was very impressed with them both the workmanship & price. So much for Fiat telling me the nearest Fiat garage to me was Exeter.

Hi Carol
Sorry to hijack your thread but does anyone out there know about the speedos for the latest Mercedes models?
By the way what have you done about your euros for buying, we are also collecting a new van in Germany next month and we haven't exchanged to euros yet. Have you found anyone who will cover you for insurance fully comprehensive to drive from Germany to the channel?

Hi Derek and Bel

I would suspect that if you look on the links at the beginning you will find they also do Merc's.

We paid the 10% deposit from our bank before Christmas when it was due, and framptoncotterell (Roy Tipping) on here recommended Currencies Direct to us, and we have in January forward bought another £20k.... but still have the rest to buy, keeping fingers crossed it goes up and not down any further.

Is yours new? or used.

Carol

Hi Carol
We are buying a new one which is a Frankia on Mercedes chassis. We paid approx a third deposit in November to get a slightly better discount luckily and we also have our fingers crossed. What about insurance?? Here's hoping the traders change tactics and the pound goes up!
