I want to view the ground at a set of co-ordinates I have. Is Google Earth the best prog to view the ground in detail and if so how do I input the co-ordinates.

Easy way is just type in the address and it goes straight there.

Please bear in mind that the view you get from Google Earth could be up to 4 years old.

Hi Sid;

You should be able to type in the coordinates with a space between each one with no probs, whatever format.

For example, I use googlemaps
Only registered users can see links on our Forum
Join Now or Login
type in 52.09590 9.35797 for a stelplatz at Hameln, Germany (it will also show the other format underneath). Then switch to satelite view if req'd.

Now that Google maps is available from the google page I tend not to bother with Google earth I also like Gerald use Flashearth but it gets more confused than google maps when changing countries.

look up the British Airways London Eye in birds eye view Very Happy

This is all very frightening. I thank goodness that because I live in the wilds of mid-Wales I still can't see more than very indeterminent brown blur on any of these programs or "services" when I've tried to look up our house.
