The two of us old fxxxs are travelling in Brittany mid May to early June this year
We love all of the things that Brittany offers but cannot find an 'adult-only type' of site that is free from organised activity and water parks etc
We would love to park up close to the beach, next to a fishing port and served by the local bus (is there a web site for French bus services in Brittany?)
Our MH is 7.4metres long
We also have two dogs to take care of
We are reasonably self contained for overnight Aires stops but we would like to stay in one place for a week, put up the awning and travel by bus into town for the markets and shopping etc
Any suggestions please
Happy wheels

You can park up unofficially, but everyone does it, right on the pier at Le Croisic, although I wouldn't put up the awning. Very good for a couple of nights. Right behind the the parking spot is a local park for early morning/late evening dogie walks.

There is also an aire in Le Croisic, but it doesn't have the great views!!

To be honest I think you will be lucky finding an adult only site round there.

The nicest and possibly quietest site is

which is between La Turballe and Guerande.

Good bike riding country and a bus at the bottom of the road.

Although there is a swimming pool there is little else other than a fairly upmarket little restaurant on site.

I can absolutely assure you theat Madame Brigitte will not have any riff raff !!

If you get a Les Castels card you may save some money on site fees

( and there are lots of little aires dotted about all along the coast if you so wish )

There's a campsite called Les Ajoncs d'Or which was pretty good about 20 years ago. Worth a look.

If you like moules, do not fail to visit Chez Hubert at Erdeven. The best Moules a la creme I have ever tasted.

He's on the web.

Cheers
