This is excellent news and many congratulations to the whole team. Just a pity for them that they are British, management are already saying that it will be much more difficult to do the same in the Olympics. If they were Yanks or Aussies they would already believe that they were invincible.
Why is it that the British do not do hysterical enthusiasm.
Let's not forget, these guys are only semi professional at best and have to hold down jobs for finance. If they were overpaid football prima-donna's they would be emblazoned across every newspaper and sports bulletin even when they have lost the will to win. Once again we fail to recognise sportsmen.

Actually the boatrace was exciting for about 10% of the race which was equivalent to 2% of ITVs coverage. (2hrs for 20mins race of which 2mins was exciting)

Anyway back to the Madison its about the third I've seen so getting the hang of it now. Beats me though how the riders understand their position and what their tactics need to be do they have pitboards for the non racer to read?

I wondered that too Frank. I have never watched it before and was amazed how the British pair made up that lap.
