Sid,
What a list, looks like my weekly shop!
The worrying thing is how many of us have bought some of these foods for a quick meal either at home or in the van. The food Standards Agency has been quite dilatory, they were aware of this problem 2 WEEKS AGO and only released it on Friday.
Another area of concern is, has any of this got into catering packs esp. those used by Schools.
And BTW what is an industrial product doing in a food processing plant? are we going back to adulterating food like they used to do years ago like chalk in the flour and latterly glycol in white wine.
The only Worcester sauce is from Worscester!

you should see what goes in to processed foods in the states - they do so much juggling about with it to give things a longer shelf life & then extra vitamins are added to put back in what they took out in the processing!

Best to buy food as un-mucked about with as possible. Meals prepared with fresh ingredients are often quicker than so called ready meals, and a damn site cheaper.

Quite agree Mike buy real food from the UK with as little done to it as possible, as Mike said cheaper, far better and does not take too much time if you just think about it a bit, for instance make a large stew in a slow cooker and freeze what you don't eat for another day. Just Meat, vegetables and water: herbs, pepper and salt only additives Wink

Apparently the stuff used was imported in 2002.
Some products using whatever it is has been on sale since 2002, and had obviously been consumed

We have to read the labells to [u:4dbaafd7a3]try[/u:4dbaafd7a3] and avoid excessive amounts of salt and sugars

I stopped smoking 35 years ago but I'm now so worried about what I'm eating that I might just have to have a fag to calm my nerves!
