Hi brillopad, it looks like no-one here this evening has the information you need. It's not lack of willingness to help so much as you may be the first to ask!! Some of the trailer manufacturers websites may be a better place to look. You will need to know your Mini's weight and probably its overall dimensions to make your quest more fruitful.
Have you considered having a braked 'A' frame fitted to the car?
We are looking at towing an old style Mini on an 'A' frame and giving our Mini Cooper to our son who will no doubt appreciate it more (he has had it off road , inadvertently, already - proof that all the traction and stability controls cannot overcome the laws of physics). We are of a more sedate age.

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME THE SMALLEST TRAILER I NEED TO TOW MY MINI (03 COOPER S) THANKS ,DENNIS
I suppose the easy answer is one that fits As aultymer says speak to the trailer manufacturers, I would be very surprised if one of them did not produce a trailer specifically designed for the mini.

Aultymer,
Have you looked into A framing the old style mini? I would be concerned about cooling. As you are probably aware the original Mini did not have a seperate gearbox and relied on the engine oil for lubrication and cooling. As you will be towing, the gearbox will be turning and heating with no cooling from the water system and restricted airflow through the radiator grill. Over long distances in heat, this may be a concern. I am sure you have considered all of this, but just in case....
Regards,
Gerry

Sorry I am 'off topic' but thanks Gerry D for the reminder. I had assumed that since the box copes with engine heat and transmission heat when running then towing would not generate too much heat. Since it will be in neutral then only the drive shafts, diff and output shaft on the box will be turning as in any other towed car.
Always good to have another opinion.
