With all the talk of the various issues with the new Ducato ('the gates' I think best describes them) - there does not appear to be much mention of the 'old' Ducato despite it not being very long since it was discontinued. (Incidentally, still notice a few 'new' ones of the old shape around and about.

What are the key issues with the last model? I remember reading some issue with 5th gear issue, and to be careful with this and something about horns falling off (!) but other than that - what problems have been experienced (or known issues / things to look out for) on the last Ducato base vehicle?

Appreciate anything to keep an eye on.

Cheers,

David

As it happens, 'twas only the other day that I was reading a motorcaravan magazine and there was a letter from a disgruntled owner about water pouring into the engine bay and causing problems with electrics etc.: this was a 2003 mag. I think, and this was a problem with the 'old' Ducato. I am sure many people know of this and the problems may all have been sorted by now so it may just be considered 'water under the bridge' .......

Hi,

We have been running a number of Sundances on our hire fleet and they all have performed extremely well with out any problems especially when you consider that most hirers have never had a MH before.

Regards

Peter

Please always bear in mind that only the 'complainers'...complain!
That is probably far less than 1% of the ownership Wink
