We were in Gouda only 10 days ago. Cannot recommend it as a nice site. The water has been disconnected, so emptying Thetfords is a bit messy without water to rinse. Therefore also no water to fill tank.
The official parking is close to the entrance, but that is not so nice. Better to drive to the end where there is much more space (near the kiddies' playground)
On the upside, if you leave before 9am, there is no charge as the barriers are left open overnight till 9am.

Do you know if this is permanent, or a winter thing? I only ask because I think we were planning to stop there next week.

Time for an itinery rethink Sad

Sorry, was away again.
Yes, it was the site you reffered to, in Gouda.
The tap has been removed, so looks pretty permanent to me
I used to live near Gouda (up to 1963), but sorry to say it is not a patch on what it was then.
But when you are asleep, who cares?
