Hi Kenny,

there appears to be a problem with a few forums, namely GPS which you mention and also the online classifieds. I think all the posts are still there but you just can't access them at the moment.

I've emailed Dave a few days ago about it so it should get sorted on his return.

pete.

Hi, didnt forget. Its just an absolute bu&*er of a job to find out whats happened to them.

I do have a backup of them, but the problem is i am having to write a script in perl to parse through the entire posts in motorhomefacts forums to pull out the ones that are particulary for gps !!!

Its a long job, but i havent given up yet Embarassed

Hell fire Rolling Eyes That sounds bad! The last time I perl my parses, they had to call out the quack and the cream he gave was rubbish. Some made by an Emma Royd. For all the good it did, I might as well ... etc etc.
Sorry Nukie, all the best jokes are the old ones! Laughing

well sorry Kenny & Stella, i took a long look and to revive gps section would have worked out to be far too time consuming a project i'm afraid

the only thing i can advise is can any posters who posted info to that particular section please come back and repost the information for all to see
