I'm looking for some free standing storage feature. Right now I'm focused on the Ventura Space Storage tent. It's the right size and looks robust enough to cope with the West Coast of Scotland's weather - with maybe an extra tie down. We've had a Ventura caravan awning before and was very happy with that.

Has anyone experience of this item or anything similar? Some of the others I've looked at look a bit flimsy and have too many guy ropes.

Also anyone had any problems with sites not accepting free standing awnings? Personally I can't see the difference between one thats attached or one that stands very close.

We have two of these units and have used them for over 5 years. I have had to re proof the roof seams twice to ensure water does not drip through. Otherwise have stood up well to the ravages of use and time.

The units are easy to erect, offer full headroom and can be used even as a bedroom as the end windows rolls up and has fly net.

No problem with acceptance at sites if pitched close to MH like a drive away. Never been charged extra for them. One is used for 4 bikes and beach clutter. One is used for sleeping 2 children.

Would thoroughly recommend.

Appears very sturdy, good size and price, and took 5 mins to put up.
