Buon giorno Dave, and welcome.
What can I say - very brave of you to tackle this project.
All I can tell you about this bus is that it reminds me of the one I used to go to school in, except it had a snow plough at the front instead of a bullbar.
saluti,
eddied

How old are you Brian? Not sure your grandchildren will see the finished article!

The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be.

Good luck with the project Dave.
Beneath the scabby paintwork you probably have a workhorse that will still be on the road when all other members vans have expired.
From experience of rebuilding an old boat, just take it easy - DO NOT be tempted to 'rip it all apart'. Do a bit at a time as funds and time permit.
At least in Oz you should not find work held up by rain!!
Keep us up to date with the progress.

Hi All
I am 43 years old a spray painter/ panel beater by trade.
The first job will be to reskin the coach with streched alluminum & all new windows. Roof to be raised a 100mm.
We looked around for a year to find the right coach this one was a motorhome & has been striped out inside which is what we wanted.
I work at a engineering company & we build large vehicles so i have a lot of contacts & help as needed
Kids have grown up & left home & grand child has seen it LOL.
So its time to build a mobile home retire from full time work & travel before we are to old to enjoy it.
Here is a pic of the inside.
Dave.
