Hi dreamlander - It depends where you are starting from! We stayed at the Toll Section services last year. It was fine for what was a safe location. We paid about £8 which was high by French standards, but it was at least convenient. "Free" shower in the usual toilet facility, although I did not use it, it looked spotless. We would use it again if necessary.

Hope this helps

Sue

You can overnight at Calais Beach, My Advice dont stop on Autoroute Service Area's. To be fair to yourself/family do you think its a good Idea to go to work before you Travel, can you not get your boss to give you the time off. you can then take all day to get to port.
. You need to be at your best. Bon vacance

Hi All,
We're planning to leave Crieff and travel down the Preston area and overnight somewhere, then travel down to Dover for the 16.15 ferry to calais on the saturday. As we'll only be sitting at about 55-60 I'm unsure how long this is going to take.
