In the good old days you'd simply shorten the cable, but now (I think) the pedal is connected to a potentiometer. Has anyone here adjusted the height of the accelerator pedal on a 2.5TD engine?? How did you do it???

TIA,

Drove my son's Merc. van for the day. Damn near crippled my right foot. Are they all this high? Is it for truckers with big boots or just not for dwarfs? Rolling Eyes

Good idea if the pedal's too high, but with the increased thickness of floor cladding I've installed recently, mine is actually too low. Thanks anyway ...
