After Sales Service (or not)
===================

I have just swoped my Trident for a 1 year old Rapido 707 from MARQUIS MOTORHOME (Surrey/Bagshot depot) as I liked the layout and it was fitted with a Sattelite TV system which was what I wanted. (NB I have no Sat TV or Sky experience.)

Friday - The Hand over by Marquais - "A mistake" - I was shown the dish and TV "powered up". The system wasn't working and I didn't know better!

Monday - I realised there was a problem and did the 65 mile (each way) drive to discuss it. Arrived bagshot 1130. At 1530 the service manager told me the problem was the Sky card.

Tuesday - I talked to Sky who said I should receive Freeview irrespective of "wether or not" their card was working. Confidence lost in Marquais Motorhomes - Internet research.

Wednesday - PREMIER MOTORHOMES of Chichester proove very helpful in lending a Digibox for a test and then arranging for Oyster UK to look at the system the following day.

Thursday - I meet up with Oyster UK at Premier Motorhomes - Problem solved - it was a defective LNB - system now works!! Also given latest software and a Sky manual as part of warranty. How about that!

Friday - Off to catch the 1800 ferry at Newhaven.

Well done and many thanks to both Premier Motorhomes & Oyster UK. Its the after sales help which counts for so much!

Once again proves the independent dealer gives far better service than a National and Premier didn't even supply the MH.
