We too have a TomTom 910. We are really pleased with it.We have downloaded all the aires, stellplatz etc on to it and we have found places in France and Germany that we would never have found by using just a map, although we don't totally rely on the TomTom. We still use maps in conjunction with the satnav.
We've learnt this through trial and error as occasionally TomTom as directed us down VERY narrow roads which are fine for cars but no way suitable for a 8 metre motorhome!
Even so, we would still definitely reccomend the 910

i have a series of complaints or ilness,s what would you think of the 910 when it boils down to finding hospitals , police , ect , as this is some thing we do worry about in all case,s any way , .
all the very best , and yours sincerely .
denton.

have had 910 for 3 years still finding plus's to it if you get latest version 2.2 i believe, or you can download it in seconds from home page on welcome screen now has option HELP ME , when used offers phone for help, walk to help ,first aid guide etc will even tell you exactly where you are ,tapping drive to help will offer you nearest hospital ,doctor ,dentist or police and garage services , though to date apart from the hospitals and garages some appear to be in dutch i'm sure these will come on line
when planning route it will often send you long way round ie motorway at 120kph for 200 ks is quicker than 100ks at 50kph i usually get round this by using plan a route service which allows you to set max speed and therefore it will plan a more MH friendly route
liked mine so much bought daughter TT100XL for christmas 1/3 of price 90% of functions just has to be topped up more
good luck and enjoy

well you did convince me ! i bought the go 910£120.00 from ebay complete and immaculate and the year it was sold to the public was 2006 december , i have a credit card tomtom never opened , well what i would like to know , i did try to load the disc or cd , and it said tom tom home , well this confused me right away , i thought i had a go 910 . so i stopped the cd down load .
can any one say if the tomtom 910 has hospitals and such in and out of europe , as poi , i have read so much on this issue . but still bemused with all the amount of information you have stored in this little thing , i am not the best when it come,s to computers .
i read now also tmc does not work unless you subscribe to tomtom for a set amount , cameras also you have to subscribe for a charge the list goes on . can some one enlighten my experience with a tomtom like this . it has been said what version is your tomtom , ?~/

We have a 910 and like it a lot. It does what it says on the tin. May well splurge on a new set of UK & €U maps as we have had it for 18 months or so now. We have downloaded loads of CDs onto it and use it to play them via the Aux socket of the radio. Very useful.
This is exactly what we have done. No regrets.
Hi Denton
I'm afraid I don't know about hospitals. I've just done a quick Google search for "hospital POI", and there seems to be some information on a set of POIs to locate hospitals, but I haven't really investigated further than that.

hello gerald thank you for this little bit of information ,
much needed , i assure you i have been looking at this little box of tricks with great interest ,
i ask because of ailments i have , the wife is healthy thank god , lol!
no it is some thing i or we were most wanting while away , although with all the , bad press on sat-navs and such would any of us trust a sat-nav to get us to a hospital in an emergancy , as most i have read people ending up all sorts of areas .
have a great time . denton.

That's the only way one ever gets to know the ins and outs of the many things it can do.
Look at the "plan advance journey" thing and go on imaginary trips from A to B via C and D.
See what there is on route in the way of Points Of Interest.
All the hospitals and doctors (plus chiropractors, hypnotherapists, acupuncturists and whatever!) that it knows about will be there.
Load TomTom Home onto your computer from the internet then hook up your 910 to the computer and download updates - a lot of them are free!
I could go on, and on, and on and on - but you will be using it, so just discover for yourself!
There is an amazing world of information and functions on it.
