Is there anyone out there who has had problems or bad experiences, particularly with aftersales with Chelston Motorhoes. We have had an ongoing appauling nightmareof an experience with their aftersales service, or lack thereof, for nearly a year. None of the motoring or other legal help or consuer organisations are interested, and leagal action isn't a viable option. So I am looking for power through group pressure perhaps

Bigmal - have a look in the Company Directory there were reports in there, and one of the Sales Directors did join the list and contribute when there was a few bad reports, I am unsure whether he monitors it regularly though.

I know several have been pleased with the servicing side I think it was, but although they are the closest dealer to me, we bought in Germany (Rapido) they don't do them anyway.

We used to use them back in the days when they were Hymer dealers in the early 90's for servicing and repairs.... but that was in the old days when they were at their original premises (now I think the caravan side of the business), and as they were no longer Hymer Dealers, we were unable to use them for water ingress on our last Hymer.

At that time they were good, but that was even before they opened their other branch in the Midlands, since closed.

Carol

Thanks for your reply. Wepurchased a brand new top of the range Burstner from them last July. They have treated us like dirt eversince, and we have had a van that thus far has been completely unuseable. I rue the day I ever did business with them.

Hi

Chelston joined the forum a while back - but must admit I have not seen much of them recently.
