I have not researched all the details fully, but the Abeey have jumped on the band waggon with a new fee free card for overseas.

As always, the link is for your info and you should research the product carefully etc before applying. I am not recommending the products, equally I am not "not recommending" either.

Sounds from the blurb that it may be just what we need. Nationwide is very good but it would be nice to have a credit card to use abroad.

It reads as if you are not charged interest on cash withdrawals. I am sure this is not so Shocked

However, for purchases abroad and paying off the entire amount each month, I am sure it well have many takers.

Abbey have got their timing wrong - we go tomorrow and it will probably have strings attached by the time we return, get our heads round the small print and make application. Don't think it will stop me going though Wink

Oh well, back to the packing.
