Last time I went to Walker park it was wet and very muddy on the field being all grass. Just got off. I hate all grass pitches though.
Now if memory serves me right the club was going to revamp/move/alter this site. Don't know if they have started but it may be worth enquiring.
We did the whole walk around Derwent water. It's a lovely area and there is a great Chinese just as you get into town.
