Hi Darren
Welcome to MHF, my insurance is through the Caravan Club with Green Flag recovery, quite cheap but £500.00 excess, shop around.
Best Regards

Hi dazid1
Welcome to the site.
If you pay the £10 subs to this site (mhf) you can then go into the subs discount area and get up to 15% off insurance costs. So for an initial £10 you could save around £100, but you will need the subs codes.
There are around 6 insurance companies offering discounts .
We are with Safeguard (Swinton Ins). |

Hi Dazid and welcome to our world. My own vans is insured with Comfort Insurance and I took the option of breakdown cover, very reasonable too.
Our son has just insured his first van a 1981 elldis as a second vehicle and he recieved a very good quote from Frank Pickles insurance.they have an online quote system which is easy to use.
Have a happy summer with your new van!!!!!! |

| Insurance, in law and economics, is a form of risk management primarily used to hedge against the risk of a contingent loss. Insurance is defined as the equitable transfer of the risk of a loss, from one entity to another, in exchange for a premium. An insurer is a company selling the insurance. The insurance rate is a factor used to determine the amount, called the premium, to be charged for a certain amount of insurance coverage. Risk management, the practice of appraising and controlling risk, has evolved as a discrete field of study and practice. |
