| We are brand new to motorhoming, having just purchased a 4 year old McLouis 690 Fiat 2.8tdi 6 berth. Has anyone else got a similar vehicle. We have not collected our motorhome yet, does anyone out there have any hints and tips for very green first timers please |

hi frenchfancy
you're very welcome but i can't wait for the comments on your nickname
if you use 'search' under the adverts at the top of the page you can find all posts about mclouis.
have you bought from a dealer or privately
before i collected my van i printed off a 'motorhome collection checklist' from this site. i found it using search as above.
best advice re collection is don't let them rush you. test everything yourself. don't let them light the gas hob & move on to the next item. light the hob yourself before letting them move on. take notes or video the handover. |

Yes welcome to the site and please feel free to ask any questions, most of us will give you sane, sensible answers, the remaining 1% will make you laugh, so either way you win |
