I think it is sort of amalgamating (blooming heck- where did I dig that word up from) an "add on bundle" into the tariff.
The 500 Mb per month is classed as their fair use policy.
I reckon I use abot 75 - 100 MB per day.

For me, I shall stick with T mobile, but, for those who have a Vodafone contract already for the mobile phone, the deal looks quite appealing.
