I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to sterilize/clean my water container?

Just in case there should be any doubt, Milton is a bleach with the same chemical name (sodium hypochlorite) as your household bleaches, Domestos, Parazone etc.

The same care in use is required!

Chemical Safety Data: Sodium hypochlorite solution:

Hi Danlid

Assuming you mean portable container of some sort terry got it in one. Just in case you meant a tank within the mh remember bleaches like milton can damage stainless steel containers so best not used on mh 'internals' which probably involve stainless in water heating unit - use proprietary sterilising stuff for these systems (eg puriclean about £5.50 for a tub of powder that will last for ages) available from mh/caravan accessory shops. I'm sure you did mean portable plastic container or similar in which case sorry for fussing! But while I'm at it (!) remember that neat milton will take colour out of clothes etc if spilt/sprayed accidentally and even the diluted stuff needs to be disposed of a bit carefully. Here's hoping your water is always healthy.
