Hi,I have a LG satnav and have downloaded AIRES from CC Infos, but the only options were as asc files or tomtom. Now my question is as I have downloaded the asc files "how do I convert these to .csv files in order that my LG satnav recognises them, I know how to transfer files from my laptop to LG but it doesn't recognise them as they are not in .csv format. All I get when viewing transfered files is Goblydegook"
please, any help or suggestions,as I am near to tearing my hair out(well I would if I had any!!)
cheers Curlyboy

Hi
if you open the .asc file in wordpad and then save it using the save as option and then change the file extension to .csv thats all you need to do.

I have just downloaded and done it and opened csv file in excel spreadsheet
