Hi, having just bought our RV that came with a Oyster sat system we have a problem in that as soon as we use the water pump we lose the picture most times or it at least goes blocky I think its probably caused by a voltage drop because the sat box (a Pace 1000) is we think wired in to the 12volt system. My question is where I can obtain a power supply as I intend to power it using an inverter... Any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated

I think ebay might be your best bet for one of those. I think they are like hens teeth now. Pace ceased production some 5 years ago of this model, all that is left is graded ex-repair kit.

I would look at the wiring to the pace box though, as it sound like it is chipped into something else.

This will be bringing the power down!

Is the wiring that long that you are losing gain?

In which case try upgrading the wiring direct to battery(with inline fuse).

The consumption of the Pace 1000 is quite low so 2.5mm twin should suffice, but consider 4mm to be sure.
