This is a long winded way of saying does anybody have any suggestions of an economial way for an Aussie here in Europe for five months to get regular wireless internet access without having to put on weight every time I log on?
I came to England and Europe thinking that finding an internet connectioin would be as easy and economical as it is in Australia.
So far I haven't been able to find anything that does the job. I'm free camping around Europe, in France at the moment and having problems with my TomTom, but I have to say I would be sunk without Maccas. I knew they offered intenet access but it took a while for the idea to sink in. I don't like the food much but now I look for them where ever I go. They are my only link apart from my very expensive mobile connection.
I tried to set up a thing called Fon. I was willing to pay to use it. But in france the sites are now all connected to some phone network and they won't even let me offer to pay.
And I do. I buy a feed ever time I use Maccas. I may be a bit soft in the head but I reckon I owe them that much
