As far as I know, this is a feature of the forum software that Nuke doesn't use on MHF.

Don't worry Gerald, you're not imagining it. Laughing Laughing Laughing

IIRC the user rating used to be arrived at by collecting points. These were earned by starting threads, posting on threads, clicking on links etc. Presumably when Nuke started the "thanks" button he made this the new basis for the user rating.
