Hello

As the past few days have been warm and sunny, I have found the hab aircon to be a real, well worth it addition - more for Jenny (dog) than me.

Whilst I am out and about pottering etc, I can leave the dog inside, in the cool. Even though the outside temp is not particularly hot, the interior did get up the 30 degrees at one point.

I have found that the aircon is more effective on a low speed setting all day, rather than trying to blast it senseless at three o'clock in the afternoon when the 'van is already like a turkish sauna. Even though I am pitched in a very sunny aspect, the system, a Dometic B2200, works very well and the interior is a lot cooler than out doors. I shall probably switch it on at about 11.00 today, on the low fan speed setting. The unit is quiet indoors and out. The only give away that it is running, is a slight puddle on the exterior.

Russell

Hi

It was a factory fitted set up. Had that not been possible, I had made enquiries with a firm called Conrad Anderson in the Birmingham area. Never used the firm, but I believe that other MHF'ers have.

Thanks Russell

Conrad Anderson appear to get nothing but praise on MHF.

It's funny how one says for ages that habitation air-con isn't necessary, then a little bit of good weather and suddenly it's a must.

Regards

Tim
