Theres a fair old few memebrs on here that have imported a motorhome from Germany, I did, about 18 months ago. If you want me to, I can give you a hint at what happened and how it went, if you PM me, I'll do it that was rather than boring the pants off everyone in the forums. Embarassed Laughing

Hi Twoshoes

Buying a camper is much like asking how long is a piece of string. Everyone has different ideas about the layout, make, chassis and size, it's really a matter of horses for courses. The advice given so far is all sound, what you may find helpful is what my wife and I do. We make a three column list. The first column we put in all the essential (or must have) items, the next columnis the not so essential bits, and the last column we put the would be nice to have but if it hasn't got it not to worry. then you can search around for a 'van that ticks most of the boxes. We recently bought our Adria Twin using this method and it worked for us.

Your budget is a bit on the low side, but don't be put off there are some great deals out there and most dealers can be persuaded to drop the asking price a bit.

Hope this all helps in your search and you find the right 'van for you
