Hi all, I have just purchased a BUSH 15.4 HD TV with integrated DVD player Model No. LCD15W08DVDHD. I am unable to find the Sky code to get the Sky remote to work the TV. I have contacted Sky (twice) and searched various web sites but am unable to fine a code that works. Is there any one out there who has this TV and got the Sky code for it.
At this point I have tried dozens of 'recommended' codes and am about to give up and tape the two remotes together.

In my experience, if it isn't here it doesn't exist:

If it's a recent TV you may need to have the latest Sky remote (the silver one).

Great link Ken-I have been trying to find a code for my Polaroid TV for ages and now I have one! Just one question-it says "the four digit code" yet the code for mine is given as 206 - does this mean I need to prefix it with "0" ?
Many thanks.

Waleem,
This is the article from the support page that I wrote when Polaroids were first introduced into the market:
Use your Sky remote to operate your TV.

You need the latest SKY remote control revision - Rev. 8

The code is 206

Procedure is:

1. Select any channel on your TV.
2. Point your Sky remote away from the TV and press TV.
3. Press and hold down select and the red button simultaneously until the red light at the top of your Sky remote flashes twice.
4. Input the Sky remote control code - 206- and press select . The red LED at the top of the Sky remote control should flash twice.
5. Point your Sky remote at the TV and try the volume button. If this works try other TV functions, such as MUTE and OFF/ON.

Regards,

Gerry

Thanks Gerry-it seems then that I need a later remote. Is it possible to buy one and will it work with my existing Panasonic digibox?
Thanks for your help.

John,

I try to steer clear of Sky, but as far as I am aware all standard sky remotes are backwards compatible, so a new one should operate your Panasonic box but will have the latest codes.

Hi John..

If you need a silver Sky remote I have them in stock for £10, that should be cheaper than sky and local Curry's and Comet store types..
