Bonsoir

Could I ask for your recommendations for a fairly detailed map of France? The price is not really important, but, ideally the map should reflect that many of the "N" roads have been reclassified as "D" roads etc.

When in France I always carry 2 maps..

The Michelin atlas..

Available in either A4 or A3, spiral or hardback.

..and for basic route planning you can't beat map no 726 (France Route Planning).

Michelin for main roads , but always use local french office de tourisme where you are! they are great , masses of Info, local maps, Dept maps. even a map of where you can park your m/h .
