Just a quick note to everybody-Fiat Camper Assist and the RAC-Brilliant service! Well done!
Our hirers rang me last night to let me know that the 3 week old Motorhome that they were on holiday in, was leaking from the cab.
Advised that they rang Fiat camper assist, who sent out an RAC patrol(I was under the impression that it was ran by the AA too!).
RAC patrol suspected that it was gear box oil, and the van should not be driven. As my hirer's had parked up for the night, and happy as they were, they were comfortable that it would be dealt with today.
All I can say is that so far the service has been exceptional. We have both been kept informed all of the way. My hirers and Motorhome are being taken to a Fiat dealership tomorrow, my hirers are going off in a replacement vehicle(although I have had to organise this myself, after getting a manager to read the small print and agree that I would be re-imbursed-but only for £520).
As we have 5 Fiat's on our fleet, I am confident that everybody will be looked after, when in need of recovery.
I will post tomorrow(hopefully), when I get diagnosis from the Fiat garage-this will be intersting to say the least!!!!
