I have a T5 high top Bilbo Celex conversion LWB. I would like to carry a surf board on the the side at the top but I cannot find any firm that makes such a device. I have certainly seen them on earlier models -I think Westphalia actually marketed a T4 called surf wagon or some such thing. Any ideas anybody?

Syncro, have you looked in the Brandrup accessories catalogue for the T4 and T5? I think they have a top rail set made by THULE that sits above the elevating roof.

Deepcar is the UK distributor for Brandrup.

Thanks very much-the problem is they all seem to sit on roof racks and I have no guttering and I don't think I could add this without removing my Fiamma Awning. I'll give concept multi-car a bell.
The only place I have seen what I'm after on current vehicles is on Roy Wood transits but they would only sell me a rack if I bought a transit to go with it!

Our previous van had them:

but I don't know the supplier.

They're generally known as J bars and mine were very permanently bolted through the fibreglass.

would be v close to what you want, I suggest.
