On many campervans, mine included, the rear off-side window is blanked out with a black plastic cover.
I know the original window is still in place beneath the cover as it can be felt from the inside. I have a little rust creeping around the edge of this cover (probably started in the window opening) and I need to remove this cover to get at the rust.
There's no apparent exterior or interior fixings - it just seems to be "stuck" in place and sealed around the edge. I'm tempted just to try levering it off but I don't want to come back on here asking if anyone knows where I can get a new cover!
Surely someone out there must have already got the tee shirt for this one?
Please tell me the secret before I go and get hold of that chisel! |

| Hi Tony, Basically underneath that abs trim you will find strips of wood bonded to the glass to the thickness of the recess in the abs panel & then the panel is bonded to that. Nice hot day with the sun on it & you may be able to lift up one edge far enough to see under with a torch to ascertain how long a blade you will need, Steve |
