That's it then!

The Daughters wedding in Cyprus looms and we are packed and ready to leave at 05:00 tomorrow morning!

My camera bag is so blxxdy heavy I just hope they will let me take it on the plane! With all the advice I have two of everything except batteries where I have about x 4. Then the CF cards, I have 8 x 4gb and some others along with an 8gb USB stick. Also the Samsung Q1 computer with CF card slot and for viewing. Then there's the iPod Touch which will allow me to easily find wi fi and has a superb screen for viewing pictures.

I have removed all the non essential bits like lots of spare batteries from the camera bag to keep the weight down.

The mind is full of what I need to do on the wedding day. Along with ideas of taking my Daughter and Hubby to be out for an afternoon before the wedding to take some casual shots.

If all goes to plan I should be able to get wi fi access as I have to keep an eye on the business at the same time! I will try and post some piccies.

Wish me good fortune!

Regards

Chris

I do hope all goes well for you. My daughters didn't. One of the things I did was to order a Roller for the wedding and proud me and her glided off to the wedding and broke down on a country road on the way to the reg office. (White wedding too Rolling Eyes ) Luckily for her and unlucky for me my ex wife and her waste of space and my son and his girlfriend we folliowing in a 2 door very old vauxhall something.

So the bride in billowing wedding dress and me were squashed into the back seats behind my X and her boyfriend whom I shall call Y. We got to the reg office with some difficulty as we did not know the way and just as we were prising ourselves out the car the Roller appeared and out stepped by son and his girlfriend who we left to walk to the reception but were picked up by the Roller when the driver got it going again. There is much more but I cannot be bottomed but suffice to say the marriage ended in divorce when her hubby was found to be gay. Embarassed (Seemed a nice boy. ... a very nice boy Shocked )

Hi All,

Thanks for the support! Have arrived and currently sat in Starbucks. My camera bag was so heavy and as I took it as hand luggage, I just lifted it and pretended it was lightweight! Did my strongman impression!

Trouble is, it is so big I should have brought a day bag to carry round the basics before the wedding.

The complete wedding is in the Alexandra Hotel so no cars Pusser!

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris

Glad you (and your equipment) got there in one piece. Hope you can enjoy the occasion, despite your onerous responsibilities Wink

Hi All,

Got back last night, been hard at work all day and very exhausted.

However, wanted to post my favourite picture. I had this one in mind all the way through, will post another later, showing were it was taken.

Took in total 1,630 photos all in RAW, so lots to sort out!

Hope you like it.

Regards

Chris
