I got a piddling little website for me company, and although it seems I'm on here alot, its cos I'm at work and have nothing better to do. I also struggle, and I mean struggle to keep my website up to date, and interesting for the punters.

I have had such courtesy from the members of this forum, especially those who control it, ( for instance, I didn't know that 64 meg was an enormous photos file) that if it were the same price I pay for the business forum I belong to ( 30.00p.a.) it would still be good value. I reckoned up the money the other day, and through help and advice on here I have saved in excess of 50k.

I also have no idea what a server is.....goblin teasmaid perhaps...also I dont know how fast or slow this forum could/should be. Frankly I dont care. i couldnt do it, and if someone else does and I can chat and play on it, so be it.

so, Nuke and your elvish ( faerie if you wish) helpers I'd like to extend my thanks for the stuff you do.

but if you really want to impress me, sort out my blimming VAt application, 28 days, I ask you.

Hi Nuke, can't believe some people begrudge the tenner. The site is brilliant and fulfils many needs of us MH'rs. The info available is well worth the tenner and the speed is ok but faster is always better when it comes to web browsing. Keep up the good work. £ per hour of entertainment/education compared to other media is outstanding.

I thought a server was something to do with tennis, so I shall leave you to ordering the new server, what ever it does.

Hi BA that used to be a heartache until we went over to a computerised diary/till system about 8 years ago, ask it how much we have taken in the last 3 months, stick that in to sage and bob's you uncle. Very Happy

Still makes me cry when I pay though, blooming unpaid tax collectors that's us.

Olley,
I just dont understand it. I rang them yesterday, about pseudo numbers, and the blokey on the phone was almost proud of the fact it would take only...only...3 weeks on average.

I cant have monthly returns for a couple of quarters, 'cos I dont qualify, so I'll be sitting with my working capital taking a severe beating, waiting anything up to another 5 weeks for best part of 10,000 in Vat due to paid back to me.

The VAt man didnt understand that its hard to start trading as a corporate hospitality vehicle/green room, if the Unit you'll use is still on a boat!.
