have you got a decent map?
The Hyper Casino supermarket at Canet-Plage has a bourne but i'm not sure if they allow overnight parking in their very large car park.
There is a large amount of parking marked out along the road from Canet Plage down to St Cyprien plage ( the section between the lake and the sea) although once again I am not sure about overnight parking, like most things in France it most probably depends on the time of year.
There is quite a reasonable little Aire with parking for about 20 vans at Port Vendres tucked round behind the port, it is laid out campsite style so you get a reasonable sized area to park in.
There is a nice riverside municipal campsite at Amelie les Bains Palada, you can either stay on the aire or drive a little further down onto the municipal campsite this site is quite picturesque and you can visit the hot springs in the village.
There is also a small aire at St Andre which is basically a small parking area on the edge of the village centre with a few spaces reserved for motorhomes, handy for a supermarket and the village centre - when we were there you had to walk round the corner to the town hall to buy the jeton for the bourne.
We also stayed on the port at St Cyprien last november - follow the signs for the port technical and capitiniere then follow the road through the parking area, it continues around to the right along the waterside, when we were there last November there were several motorhomes on the dirt area beyond the little parade of shops. We were able to get water from the taps on the Quayside.
Have a good trip
