We've got the 'privacy room' for the awning & yes you can use either just the front or sides [take a tip from me - mark each set of poles different colours so you know which bit of the poles goes where otherwise it can be a bit of a joke putting it all together] . . I carry it but forget the last time we used it !

Hi,
We bought a Privacy at Newbury on Saturday. Big benefit with privacy is that when used as a full awning the side pole seals the roof to the sides. You can use it as separate side/s or front or any combination.
Just a pity that the instructions must be the worst I have seen from a non-chinese company.
Once you have erected it first time it should be simple in future.
Gerry.

Hi,we have both but only use the privacy room on long stays, but yes you can use only one panel, end or front of the priacy room if necessary. We find it quicker to use the blocker for short 2 or 3 day stops.
cheers Curlyboy

Hi
I concur with Curlyboy. We have a privacy room but have only used it twice in the last two years and only then when we were on a 4-5 day stay. The second time we used it I had to get out at 3 0clock in the morning in pelting rain to get it all down as a gale of wind had taken the sides to top clasp out and the pole at the corners had slid down under the pressure of the retaining strap and the wind. We also have a sunblocker and I have lost count of the times we have used it. Brilliant piece of kit with a wind break does the job well but only takes 5 mins to put up or take down. In other words some people love em and some hate them. Look in the cheap ads in MMM to see how many are trying to get rid of them as they take up loads of space.

Cheers Ned

Thanks Gerry, but if you need any help, just give us a ring.

We have got a DVD illustrating the set up so either phone or write in with your address and we will post you one free.

Regards

Peter
