Im Pauline & my husband Brian recently purchased our 1st van, a minnie winnie. We intend to travel western europe for 6 - 9 months starting this summer.
We would love to hear from anyone who can recommend good, inexpensive sites to stay at, and places to see, particularly in France as we'll be starting off there.
I would also be very interested to know about places to get internet access so we can keep in touch with the folks at home Smile

You'll be needing aires to stay at I reckon ? See the menu on the left of the Main page of MHF and there are lots of suggestions, reviews and photos.

and there is now a similar scheme for Italy.

As to internet. Many cities and even villages in France and other European countries are wifi-ed up and you can use the service either free or for a small fee . You need to get the local password but can do this either at a campsite, tourist office or maire. The local tourist office usually has free internet access too via their computer.

You'll be amazed at how motorhome friendly they are in Europe by comparison with dear old UK.
