Hello all,

My name is Mike, bought an E reg Ducato last year and had a great time but just mooched round but didnt use any sites as I'm a bit of a newbie. Was set to try some sites round the UK this year but now find I need a cylinder head or better still an engine. Other leisure persuits are touring on my Yamaha Fjr for which I utilise a few forums, then theres karate, not exactly a leisure persuit but I do enjoy it immensly. I live in a wonderfull part of the world, the Lakes but am a scouser in exile, lol Cool

Be easy on me now, bit green round the gills. Wink

Hi - This sounds familiar, every time I try to do a rally something happens to me or the van too. Hope yours is not major surgery! Good luck.

Hi Mike and welcome to MHF.

Hope you enjoy posting and asking questions.

You are right.... The Lakes are a wonderful part of the country (great for a ride out on the bike) and only a few miles from us. We go to Coniston quite a lot and love it around there.

If you are into meeting people we have a very active calender with Rallies and meets. Have a look at the front page.

Happy travels.

Johnny F

Hi Mike and welcome!

We're down in very south lancs and visit south lakes often - great area - our routes usually go from anywhere within Carnforth/Kirkby Lonsdale area from various M6 exits across towards Wasdale - great variety of ways to do it, good diversion available towards Cartmel and excellent fish and chips in Ulverston! Day trips sometimes end up lasting longer, that's the great thing about mhs.

Good luck with the engine!
