I had purchased a Honda 20i generator but it didnt fit under the seating storage area.(sold since so still looking)
Do you know what will fit under, ie Kippor or Honda 10i even.
I presume i dont want to lie them on their side, so where to keep them?
I have Autotrail Arapaho (no garage area)
many thanks |

We don't have a generator but, in the unlikely event we did, would probably keep it in the foot well. That way it would be upright, unable to slide around and any fumes could drop out of the vent that is also in the footwell.
On the road we tend to use the cab doors rather than the habitation doors and when we get anywhere it could be lifted out and chained to the wheel or tucked under the van.
I'm sure someone will come along with a better answer.

Hi Scotsman,
We have a Honda EU20i and our motorhome is an Autotrail Cheyenne Tag Axle. We keep ours in the largest outside locker (no garage) and there is plenty of room for it in there. I can only assume the locker on your Autotrail must be smaller than ours?
Do you have a ladder or bike rack attached to the rear of your vehicle cos if so, I wonder if there is any way someone creative could fix a generator to that and then cover it with some kind of weather proof cover? I am no expert on such things but it might be an idea especially if you are having a problem finding a generator to fit inside your locker.
Good luck.
