Hi, we have the 2008 AutoTrail Scout and wish to purchase a wheel clamp to put on it when it is not in use. We might even put one on each of the rear tyres. (Do you put them on the rear tyres or the front ones?)
Ideally we'd like to buy from outdoorbitz but will take on board any recommendations.
We don't know how to work out what size clamp we need or are they all one size? How secure are they?
We have a Strikeback alarm and tracker fitted so this is just an extra precaution. Thanks |

I am looking for a wheel clamp myself so will be interested in replies.
Just a point, yesterday on a private car park a boat and trailer had been parked incorrectly and it had a wheel clamp on.
The trailer was jacked up and the wheel clamp came off easily, the trailer moved and then the clamp put back on with trailer jacked up.
I do not know what type of clamp this was but wonder if it was just a badly fitting clamp or a useless one |
