Trev,

Weigh up the pros and cons. Ebay software might be dodgy may not pass Genuine Validation check if it has COA with it may be ok but pricey. How old is the machine if very old you may be flogging a dead horse. Then there is the cost of a HDD and the hassle in conversion. You may be better of biting the bullet and buying a new basic machine with OEM software installed for about Ģ150 (ie ebuyer or similar

and use you old monitor.

Hello,

Thanks everyone.

Zappy61, the version of Novell our server uses will only network with Win 95/98 and ME (though not tried 2000).

Great idea, if only they had some old ME stock left!.

Thanks,
Trev.
