Hi Lars,

Sorry don't know how much the VW was, sorry don't know the A( .. its on the A449, between Stafford and Wolverhampton, a village called Penkridge about 5 minutes off Junction 13 of the M6...

Re my van .. it was 29,000 euros from Germany but I think you could expect to pay at least £30,000 here, if you look at Carthago on the site I sent you will see a couple the same year and model for around 44,000 euros.. I had a bargain!

Depending upon your disability, Lars, there is another option and that's an automatic clutch that can be retro-fitted to any manual gearbox. All you need to do to change gear is move the gear lever (there's a button on top to declutch).

This might be an option for you - have a look here at Autoclutch:

I've just thought... there may even be a grant available to convert your chosen vehicle to Autoclutch (I don't know for certain). I'm sure there's a grant to support your purchase of a specialist vehicle such as a motorhome (to carry your wheelchair and provide private toilet and sleeping arrangements.)
