Just had some Waitrose Green Thai Chicken Soup for tea, and it was absolutely delicious. Not cheap at Ģ2.99 a tub, but Mrs Zeb spotted an offer and got two for the price of one.

We shall happily buy them at the full price, especially as it is such an easy and delicious meal when in the van. Probably even better in winter as it is fairly peppery.

Mrs Zeb was recently chatting to a Thai lady who said she couldn't improve on it if she made it herself.

Have you tried it Thaibry? Your opinion would be appreciated. Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers

Zebedee

Many apologies for not replying sooner. Business commitments have kept me rather busy. Thailand as well as here in the UK.

To answer your question, I've not really tried it as I generally make my own dishes up. Very fortunate to have a large Chinese supermarket in Leeds that I can go to get my fresh ingredients.

A lot of my friends from the Thai community have noticed a massive increase in products that are made in Thailand that are now readily available in the local supermarkets.

Seems to be the "IN" cusine at the moment. Laughing Laughing

Even the latest ads for items from the "Blue Dragon" brand are from Thailand.

Narm Pla - fish sauce, which is our equivalent to SALT - is now readily available.

Speak soon

Thai

Whilst working away in Derby a few years ago I had a meal in a Thai restaurant and it was fantastic. I love Chinese and I love fish and the Thai approach seemed to bring the two together.

Then back in Ipswich I went to a Thai take-away and there was one fish dish on the menu! I meant to look into what Thai was but never got around to it.

Thanks Thai

It didn't generate a lot of interest as you see, but we think it's really excellent.

Stew - give it a try. If you like Thai food I think this will hit the spot. Dead easy to prepare as well if you need a nice meal in a hurry.

Cheers
