Thanks very much for that. I've been reading just about everything on the Camos Dome. There's a lot of information on this site.
Firstly I've noticed a review by DA Burleigh that says something like "see picture below" But there's no picture. I'm interested to see what one looks like on a panel van!
Secondly I've come across two maps by "Road Pro Andy" showing the satellite footprint for the 40cms Camos. The only problem is that one map seems to show a cut off point for a decent signal somewhere North of Barcelona and another shows a map showing a goodish signal to the South of that City. Does anyone know which one is correct? Could I for example see a reasonable selection of programmes through a Sky Box say about 60 miles south of Barcelona?
Has anyone had any experience of using a static Camos in Spain?
Thanks.

Thanks. It looks much better than I had expected; in fact I like it. It looks as though you've used the additional fitting kit which I believe is an extra. Have you used yours abroad and if so what has reception been like?
Just read a thread on another forum from someone who was having trouble getting a signal with a 40cms Static Camos in Mid Wales, York and somewhere else in the UK. Since I mainly use my van in France and Spain this is a bit worrying. This satellite thing is doing my head in. Will interrogate Road Pro at the Western Leisure Show Malvern I think.
Any further comments from anyone?

The furthest I've used it in various compass directions has been Scottish Highlands, Pembrokeshire/Cornwall, Med coast of France and German border. It's been fine on all of those.
I'd go by Andy's map; he's tested and compared dishes under identical circumstances.

I have watch all the channels with a standard sky mesh dish at Blanes just up the coast fro Barcelona but could not get a picture at Vinarous 60 odd miles south of Barcelona. A guy on sight was using a small centre feed dish and could pick up some channels at different times of the day depends on the weather conditions.
