I was having trouble in locating the correct Mosquito blind for my bathroom top vent and therefore I decided to make one.
I got some Mosquito netting and cut it to the correct size (around the rim) of the bathroom top vent.
I stuck Velcro around both sides of the edges of the netting. Both sides because if you only stick it to one side, it might pull off the netting and it also feels sticky to touch on the back edge.
I then unscrewed the inner part of the vent and I stuck Velcro around the edges and I drilled holes through the Velcro for the screws.
I refitted and it works well.
You don,t have to remove the inner part of the vent, but I did so that at a future date I can still get at the vent screws.

Sounds good to me. One tip I would add is if you are going to Scotland be careful which type of net you use as some (I assume cheap) mosquito nets lets through the tiny blighters. Midge netting seems to be smaller holed. A freind learnt this the itchy way Confused

Hi, yes I know that the midges require smaller netting (don't know if they make it small enough to stop midges), but mine is the standard Mosquito netting and I will be using it in Western Europe.
Good advise about the midges though
