Has anyone any experience of this system? It replaces your stereo & has a fold out screen - says it can be connected to the reversing camera - but I suspect cannot be connected to mine as the lead between camera & monitor also carries the power & yet the unit only has a standard AV input.
Apart from that it looks like it would provide a large well lit screen & fold away neatly - but if anyone has any thoughts experience that would be great

hope this link works

Hi Kelcat

Yes the link works...thanks I followed it and read about the device. I don't think I would buy one as I prefer a portable device that I can use in whatever vehicle I find myself but as you say if you need a rear camera and this could be made to double up as the monitor then it is interesting.

Mike

Looks good but my feeling is that the more features that you build into one device, the more there is to go wrong. If the CD player fails and you have to send it for repair, you have lost your sat-nav as well. Also, will the maps be kept up to date? The manufacturer is not a well known brand so support may be scarce.
Far rather have a portable device from a well known brand.

Hi

Try the pioneer ND-BC2 It comes with its own Power supply/connector. It just connects to the head unit via a composite AV connecter. It does use NTSC standard so make sure your screen is compatible. I have installed one on a Kenwood head unit and am very pleased with the image. PM me if you want some PICs of the camera and image.
Thrust.
