Well, just between you and me, as no one else is with us. I ....imported it....not attached to, but in the locker of the RV.

I confess I got all emotional about paying 500 quid for it rather than £1300
it appears that it was a cock up. So, whats a decoder box,?
tragically, my list of thing I know about seems to diminish as the months go by.

I already changed the LNB for a Brit one, and I had this (non) genius idea that if I could buy the gizmo what tells the satellite where to look, from the Kvh R4, then I could swap it for the Winegards one. but, in the light of your expertise, kind Sir, I was wrong. Its a simple case of

Didnt engage brain before reaching for the wallet. like not buying the macerator in the state either....£ 85.00 worth of dollars would have been the thing to do. Still its a learning curve, and if I go back next year, I know what to buy.

Theres a lot to be said for buying in the Uk where you get supported. I know you maybe pay more, but at least it should work! Nevermind, if I can help you in the future with your satellite needs, just give me a shout.

Rest assured, I shall leap to your emporium.

Especially with the " brother Paraplegic...paramedic, worked in the NHs for so long I remember bells on the Ambulances" 75% dicount and the MHF discount....If I can think of more, I'll be taking money off you for the satellite when its bought.... Wink
