Don't need to register. Under product guides you will also find that I have shown the freesat boxes.

I currently cannot get Ch 4 tv on my Oyster satellite system. does that now mean I will be able to?

Do I just look for 8350 on my list or do I have to do something else?

Thanks

Yes you should be able to get it, dunno what the channel number is but the frequency is 10714H (horizontally polarised)

I ordered my PZ81 today, delivery Wednesday and I will progressively update my other equipment as and when it appears on the market.

Hi zulurita

Just do a full channel scan. Where the menu shows your channel i.e. BBC - 1, ITV 1 etc - look for 8350 as the description (the EPG will not show as Channel 4 but 8350). If not sure check the programme in your TV magazine to confirm.

seems to be a good site for keeping up with what is going on in the world of Freesat. There is some info from Humax about the PVR's state of readiness.

Some interesting news on the above site, looks like channel 5 is imminent, but shock...... Sky seem to have quite a strangle hold on Freesat.

Anyone thinking of going the same route as me, I agree with Gerry and can highly recommend the PZ81.

Gerry, many thanks for your input, you have a PM.

Simple answer to that I don't know, but I will ask the question.
I was speaking to Humax yesterday and they now hope to have a working sample of the DTR by September. There are still some issues to resolve especially the technical issue of recording ITV HD. As this is a red button service they are being asked to do something that has never been tried before.
If they can get the working samples sorted quickly, then production could start in Late October/early November.
I shall have one of the prototype samples when they appear.
