the other point worth mentioning about united mobile... is that you get a UK mobile number.
when family members etc call you, if they have inclusive minutes on their mobile plan then they don't pay to call you.
I looked at some other sims but they have lines in Lichenstein or Estonia... this means expensive calls for people calling you.

PS I bought a MY CHERRY mobile sim, what arrived was United Mobile!

said that the UM/Cherry number is actually a Channel Islands number and so will not be included in most people's inclusive minutes (and it may also be more expensive to call from a BT landline).
There seems to be duplicate threads - this one and one resurected from old.
As mentioned above, for me and my use, the goglobalsim SIM is the best value. However...

so grab a bargain!!
The number provided is from an IoM mobile - 07872 26xxxx
I've looked around and this does not seem to be an overinflated number to call - it seems to be treated as a normal mobile. If you know different please shout.
Else I'm gonna buy one (well two!)

Yes I think you my be correct about the channel island number although your mobile number is treated as UK mobile, so incurring no cost. As with most things, it's expensive to call mobiles from a landline, you can use

which also has my "quick and dirty" spreadsheet for working out the cheapest SIM to use. This page also has a link to £5 discount of GGS.
Please note the spreadsheet assumes mainly Europe - so if you are going to other places check tariffs first and modify accordingly. Hope you find this useful
